Analysis
| This character analysis section may not be accurate to every player's experience. |
Framme is a Martial Monk who joins near the beginning of the game. Due to the lack of options available in the earlygame, Framme has strong utility, being the only staff user for the first few chapters, as well as the only arts user and the only unit being able to perform a Chain Guard this early on. Her utility is further emphasized with her personal skill, Crimson Cheer, giving her and Alear +10 Avoid during combat when the two are adjacent. Due to all of these factors, Framme is an incredibly important unit in the earlygame. However, Framme's weaknesses become quickly apparent as the game goes on.
Framme joins with very low personal bases in most areas, with a 0 personal base in HP, strength, magic, resistance, and build. Along with this, Framme's growth rates aren't particularly high in any area, aside from her high speed growth, meaning that she won't improve significantly even after multiple levels. Along with that, her low strength, combined with the low might of arts means she will frequently be doing 0 damage to enemies she attacks, potentially making her unable to Break tome, bow, and dagger enemies that would otherwise be vulnerable to her, even in the earlygame. Along with all this, Engage offers the player many strong staff wielding units as the game goes on, such as Pandreo, that Framme has significant trouble catching up to even with multiple levels. Micaiah also gives non staff wielding units the ability to use staves, joining in Chapter 6, making Framme lose her niche.
Due to Framme having trouble securing kills, her best option for gaining experience quickly is engaging with Micaiah and utilizing Great Sacrifice for significant experience. Upon getting to level 10, Framme can use a Master Seal to promote. Due to Framme's poor strengths the Martial Master class is ill suited for her. In comparison, the High Priest class gives Framme more magic and access to tomes, making it the superior choice. Framme can also reclass into the Griffin Knight or Royal Knight classlines in order to be able to combine her high staff rank with high mobility, but her low magic holds her back in these classes.
Overall, Framme has immensely useful earlygame utility thanks to being the only healer for several chapters, but as the game goes on Framme struggles to keep up with the rest of the army.
