Countdown (Japanese: お前の命は、あと… What's left of your life) is Chapter 3 of Book III of Fire Emblem Heroes.

This chapter was added to the game as part of an update released on January 11, 2019, alongside its featured characters, and a number of related quests, which were available until January 30.

Plot

Main article: Countdown/Script

Gustav reveals that he battled Hel twenty years ago and that she is responsible for giving him the scar on his face. He decides to attack her forces and drive her back into the realm of the dead, and warns Alfonse not to engage Hel if he sees her. The Order of Heroes takes part in the battle and encounters Hel. Against orders, Alfonse battles Hel, but she afflicts him with a death curse and gives him nine days to live.
