Silver Axe
| ||||
|
The Silver Axe (Japanese: 銀の斧 Silver Axe) is a rare basic axe which was introduced in Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem and is present in every game since apart from Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. It is the last and strongest in the line of basic axes, surpassing the Iron and Steel Axes in might, but it requires a high weapon level to use, and is much more expensive and usually has much lower durability than its weaker counterparts.
In Book 2 of Mystery of the Emblem, multiple Silver Axes can be obtained, but no playable unit can use them. Their only purpose in that campaign is to be sold for gold, similarly to the Red/Blue/White/Black/Gold Gems and Bullions of later games.

- Although there are no axe-wielding playable units at all in Book 2 of Mystery of the Emblem, the player still receives Silver Axes somewhat regularly in it. These axes are meant to be sold for a decent sum of money.
