Etruria (Japanese: エトルリア Etruria) is a country on the continent of Elibe. It was founded by Saint Elimine following the Scouring. It is one of the most powerful nations of Elibe. Caerleon and Reglay are two of its provinces. Its capital city is Aquileia.

King Mordred is the only known ruler of Etruria.

The Western Isles

Etruria held colonial rule over the Western Isles until the year 1000, ending some time after the Disturbance of Bern. The Western Isles were ruled by Etrurian nobility, the last of whom was Arcardo, a lord of little importance to the Etrurian court.

Because the Western Isles are rich in minerals, they were exploited primarily for those resources. Many mines were built, the most famous of which lay in Mount Eburacum, also referred to as "the Mine of Death". Working conditions were poor; inhabitans of the Isles were captured, forced into labor in the mines without rest, and frequently died. Because of this abuse, a resistance group formed around a local named Echidna. In order to catch members of the resistance, the Etrurian lords did not hesitate to conspire with bandits and directly attack villagers rumored to hide the resistance.

During the Disturbance, the Lycian Army was sent to the Western Isles, supposedly to deal with bandits, but actually do keep it out of the way of a coup d'état. The Lycian Army discovered that the Etrurian nobles and the bandits worked together to exploit the Isles, which lead them to join with the Isles' revolutionaries.

Following a final battle in the Western Isles' capital city of Juteaux, Etrurian rule was removed from the Isles. Some time after the Disturbance's end, the Western Isles' officially seceded from Etruria, becoming the independant Western Union under Echidna.

Aquileia is Etruria's capital city, as well as the largest and wealthiest city in all of Elibe. It houses Castle Aquileia, serving as the seat of Etruria's royal family, as well as the Tower of the Saint, an important landmark for the Elimine Church. Following that, the Elimine Church holds significant sway over Aquileia's population.

The Tower of the Saint is an important altar for the Elimine Church, located in Aquileia. It is considered the national symbol of Etruria, and is the hiding place of Saint Elimine's legendary weapon, Aureola.

Carleon is a county in Etruria ruled by House Carleon. The count of Carleon adopted Priscilla of Lycia's House Cornwell.

Reglay is a county in Etruria ruled by House Reglay. The head of Reglay is Count Pent, alongside his wife Louise.
