The Tutorial (Japanese: チュートリアル Tutorial) is an optional chapter in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade which, as its name suggests, serves as a tutorial for basic game mechanics. As such, there are frequent interjections from Cecilia to explain everything.

It can be accessed in the extras menu. No save file is created for it, so suspend saves are unavailable, and experience gained here will not be carried over to the main game.

Strategy

This section details unofficial strategies that may help with completion of the chapter. This may not work for everybody.

The basic enemies pose no real threat. Bors cannot reasonably be defeated without using Lilina at range. To kill him with Roy takes a lot of luck, as Bors will kill Roy in two hits and the hit rates are not in Roy's favor. Additionally, Wolt cannot deal any damage.

Trivia

• The map used for this chapter would later be cropped and edited to become the Prologue of Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, though in-universe these are not the same locations.
