Powers Motion Picture Company
Powers Motion Picture Company was an American film company established by Pat Powers in 1909 in Wakefield, New York. They would go on to release over 800 films between 1909 and 1932. In 1912, they would merge with Independent Moving Pictures (IMP), the Rex Motion Picture Company, the Champion Film Company, the Nestor Film Company, and the New York Motion Picture Company to form Universal Pictures.
Visuals: On a black background, a frame is visible. In the upper part of the frame, there is a silhouette of a deer head with an outlined ribbon below it that says "POWERS". The second or fourth Universal Pictures logo is also displayed in the lower part of the frame.
Variant: Several films use the title card version of the logo, where the outlined shield is shown containing the image of the deer head in silhouette, with the text "POWERS" above it. Most of the time with the logo for the Universal Film Manufacturing Company.
