On a few occasions now ive had mail delivered to my address and it clearly states a neighbours address, as ive had my parcels delivered to a different neighbours address when clearly it has my address on, i really dont get it, this is Royal mail , maybe the postman cant read!!!!!!!

Yet again I am told to wait in for a delivery that never turns up and then I get a msg to say delivery was attempted and nobody home when I have wasted yet another day waiting all day even making sure I was watching for the delivery but I am made to feel it is my fault 🤬 this has happened multiple times and nobody does anything about it 🤬 and the only place to complain is here! No matter where I go on the website it simply sends you round in circles but never the opportunity to actually complain about what is goin on, Royal Mail is nothing like what I grew up with am disgusted with the way they treat there customers

What happened, where has the reliable service gone?
Deliveries not making it to the door, suggesting unable to find the address, oddly Royal Mail find the address just days before. Week after week, suggesting unable to deliver as no one at home. The regular untruths are disheartening. A family member has been at home on all occasions, cameras clearly show, no attempts by Royal Mail. I do hope retailers stop using you altogether.
So very disappointing Royal Mail.

Got notification that my order was delivered to my nominated pickup location - WRONG! Delivered to another location, turns out, which is out of my way. Won't be choosing this service if I can help it!
Just unreliable and poor
I ask to collect parcels from post office as I'm not at home during working hours, and while they accept my request (they send me confirmation emails), then they attempt delivery at my address and won't deliver. This has happened multiple times. Trying to speak to customer services is a nightmare, more than 1h waiting time.
Dreadful, poor and useless service.
I've sent five 'signed for' letters in the last few months. Four of those have never arrived and I made a claim, only to get a refund of the postage in stamps, rather than a refund to my bank!! This is even though I printed labels at home because i can't get to the post office. What use are stamps to me?
Now, i have sent a tracked24 letter and a week later it's still sitting in Backofbeyond, a place in the sticks somewhere in Scotland.
Appalling service. it never used to be like this.
If only there would be a sensible alternative for sending letters.

Outraged. Had a bank card delivered to my house, so I thought as I was emailed of the arrival of my parcel and it says it was put in the safe place provided. In fact nothing was delivered and no parcel was left anywhere but the slip to say it was delivered had been recieved, this is a bank card to reiterate and they gave failed to deliver it, not only that lied and said it was placed in the safe place. Never using this awful courier service again.

ive been waiting for an item ordered a week ago. tracking shows its been sitting in their local depot for 3 days, absolute disgrace of a company

3 times I've arranged collection from my address & everytime they've not collected, made sure i was home when they should have collected yet still not collected, they've really gone downhill

Absolute disgrace, ordered a pair of trainers from vinted, royal mail received it, the delivery address was for a morrisons daily pick up point, had an email saying there was no one at the address, its a morrisons daily they were open, no attempt to redeliver, tried to arrange a redelivery through the app and no option to do so, 3 hours on hold and got transferred to the same thing that i had been on hold to for 3 hours!!!!!!!

My parcel should have been delivered to local BP garage and once again it hasn't, has been delivered to local post office delivery office. What's the point, when it's open from 8am to 10am. Which is not suitable for some of us to collect. The same thing happened to my husband a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely unbelievable! Their app has also been down all day

What the hell has happened to Royal Mail? 3 parcels all signed for have been late, not arrived when re-booked and finally - I wasted a day waiting in for Royal Mail to deliver a parcel on the day they said they would.
I can't wrap my head around how such a huge company that used to behead and shoulders above all other delivery companies has fallen so dramatically, they for me are now on par with Evri/Hermes.
There has been a note on my front door for years stating that any parcels can be left in a safe place next to the front door, there is CCTV monitoring my front door and the amount of times I've seen posties read the note and not bother posting or leaving the parcel in the safe place is baffling!
The reality is that this isn't going to get better any time soon, I am a member on various forums and the amount of folk complaining about Royal Mail in recent months has grown weekly, something is seriously amiss.
Issuing books of stamps as a refund
Royal Mail have failed to deliver a number of my parcels so I lodged numerous claims for a refund. Unfortunately, Royal Mail are now issuing books of first-class stamps as a refund and not a cheque for money lost.
A Shambles
Something radical need to be done about the terrible state of this organisation. They have competitors now but essentially still run a monopoly on franked mail.
So my compliant concerns the return of an Ebay item. The parcel was duly left in the right place, the driver picked it up, I, in fact, saw him as he took it away: all done I thought. Of course not, later in the day I received an email telling me that the item could not be posted as it was not in the place arranged. A glitch in the system I mused. Again no, the item is lost and apparently I am noy only to blame but must bear the rather large cost of keeping an item I did not want. Add this to the Royal Mail doing everything it can to deter you from legitimately finding out what happened via a useless customer service provision (wait time 40 mins!) and no joy at the end. This organisation is a shambles and illustrates the foolhardiness of privatising things you shouldn't.

They give you delivery times then don’t show. This has happened enough times that when I am expecting a delivery that is using Royal Mail, I know it’s going to be an hassle.
The tracking service often doesn’t update to tell you that packages have been delivered. This isn’t good news if you are sending items out, not knowing if they have arrived unless you contact the recipient.
Disgraceful fabrication tactic
They give you a delivery time for tracked 48 or tracked 24 item - 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm. You are at home all day. At 12:54 you get a notification that the delivery was attempted. No door bell. No knock. No red slip. Nothing. Not only was no attempt made, the 'attempted delivery' was out of the time frame given.
Now, RM has attempted delivery inside of their 48 hour target and won't get bad stats. But it was a blatant lie. This is the norm now for tracked 24 and tracked 48 for me. I rarely have these type of items delivered in the respective time frame. Its disgraceful. Don't offer the service if you can't fulfil without lies and deceipt. Disgusting and disgraceful.
