Nazca Corporation

Nazca Corporation was a Japanese video game developer founded in May 1994 in Suita, Osaka, by former Irem employees. Specializing in Neo Geo games, it became an SNK subsidiary in 1996 before being folded that year. Led by president Yoshihiko Kodo, Nazca is best known for creating the Metal Slug franchise, with approximately thirty employees and serving the Japanese market.

Visuals: On a black background, a purple horizontal line starts to move from right to left. Later, a purple beam is shown with a black sans-serif text "NAZCA" with a blue outline and a purple colored text "CORPORATION" in sans serif typeface below it appears in front of it. The line behind that fades out and the background turns white, removing the purple outline as well.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A long moog with a female voice "NAZCA" after the background became white.
