This project implements a tetrahedral oscillator inspired by the paper “Analysis and Design of a Tetrahedral Oscillator” by Richelle L. Smith and Thomas H. Lee. The oscillator is built from coupled inverter pairs, and its operating frequency is tuned by adding capacitive loads to the internal nodes.

A standard-cell library I designed from scratch for sky130: transistor sizing from device physics, my own gdstk layouts signed off with the official KLayout DRC/LVS decks, and my own ngspice-to-Liberty characterizer (multi-PVT, with measured setup, hold and minimum pulse width). Zero foundry cells in the chip hardened with it.
