The Kingdom of Pyrathi (Japanese: ペラティ Peraty) is a small kingdom occupying an archipelago called the Pyrathi Isles,[1] and is isolated from the rest of the continent. It is ruled by Mannu, a Manakete who worships Salamander as a god.[2] It was used as a penal colony by the Holy Kingdom of Archanea.[3]

Geography
The Pyrathi Isles are located in the Outerlands region of Archanea in the Pyrathi Ocean;[4] bordering Talys and Galder to the north. To its west is Port Warren, which connects to Pyrathi with a bridge.[5][6][a]
History
Prior to the War of Shadows, Pyrathi was a penal colony used by the Kingdom of Archanea.[3] Ogma's mother was in Pyrathi when he was born; after her death, Ogma was taken away to Knorda.[7] Additionally, Bantu traveled to Pyrathi and lost his firestone there.[8]
In Chapter 9 of Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light and Shadow Dragon, the Archanean League were forced from Port Warren by Grust, and sought refuge in Pyrathi. Mannu treated the League as trespassers and attacked them, though he is defeated in the ensuing battle. Jeorge of Archanea travelled to Pyrathi to rendezvous with Marth and Nyna. Additionally, Catria of the Whitewinged Order approached Marth at Pyrathi to relay to him Minerva's request.
What happens to Pyrathi afterwards is unknown.

Pyrathi Castle
Pyrathi Castle (Japanese: ペラティ城 Peraty Castle) is a building located to Pyrathi's southwest. During the War of Shadows, Mannu fell in battle there at the hands of the Archanean League.
Eastern shrine
To the east of Pyrathi, there is a shrine that housed a Wyrmslayer in a chest; this fact became a rumor according to a villager.[9] The shrine is also referred to as a "palace" in the English localization of Shadow Dragon.[10]

Trivia
- According to the notes of Fire Emblem series writer and director Shouzou Kaga, Ogma was born in Pyrathi.[7] Unlike some other information from supplementary material, Ogma's connection to Pyrathi has not been directly acknowledged in any games.
- Salamander was cut in Shadow Dragon's opening to Chapter 9 for unknown reasons.
- Despite Salamander being omitted, Mannu still refers to Pyrathi as sacred in Shadow Dragon.[11]
