Pure Water (Japanese: 聖水 Holy Water) is an item appearing often in the Fire Emblem series. In most of its appearances, it works to temporarily boost a user's resistance, with the effect dwindling for each turn since usage. Thracia 776, due to the lack of a separate resistance stat, has Pure Water increase the magic stat, so the user will deal more magical damage along with reducing damage from magic-wielding enemies.

Pure Water has so far appeared in the majority of games in the series; the item does not appear in Gaiden, Genealogy of the Holy War, Fates, and Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. The Pure Water has a staff variant in all games in which it appears, and this counterpart is usually the Ward staff; the one title where Pure Water appears but Ward doesn't, Thracia 776, gives Pure Water a different counterpart in the Magic Up staff, which raises magic, which also acts as resistance.
