France 4
France 4 is a public TV channel owned by France Télévisions originally dedicated to music-related events and youth-oriented programming. It was launched in March 31, 2005 just in time for the launch of digital terrestrial television in France, replacing Festival, which was oriented towards fiction. Originally slated to be shut down along with France Ô in 2020, France 4's commitment to broadcasting at-home lessons and children's programming kept the channel going. Nowadays, the channel is split into two main blocks: Okoo for children's programming and Culturebox for culture-related programming (concerts, theater performances, etc), with the francetv sport brand taking over during sport-related events.
Visuals: On a black background, five squares with different colors flip in, representing the five channels of France Télévisions, respectively from left to right. The scene then fades to a close-up view of the squares flipping and turning purple. The scene then fades to a background with a dim purple light at the top right of the screen, with a square at the center forming the France 4 logo from the time (a white "4" in a purple trapezoid) as "france" and "présente" pop up from it, with the logo horizontally sandwiched between.
Technique: CGI by Gédéon and Dream On Studios.
Audio: An eight-note electronic tune, followed by a piano note, along with a reversed, higher-pitched one. The sounds are accompanied by swooshing sounds.
Visuals: Against a dark blue background, five differently colored lights zoom towards the screen, representing the five channels of France Télévisions, respectively from left to right. They then fly away from the screen, fly to the right, and fuse together to form the France 4 logo from the time. The background color turns purple, as "france" and "présente" pop up from and settle spaced between the logo.
Technique: CGI by Ultimatum.
Audio: An eight-note electronic tune, followed by a piano note, along with a reversed, higher-pitched one. The sounds are accompanied by swooshing sounds.
