Wi-Fi device management settings for Apple devices
You can configure Wi-Fi settings for Apple devices that enroll in a device management service.
The Wi-Fi payloads support the following. For more information, see Payload information.
Supported payload identifiers: com.apple.MCX(WiFi), com.apple.wifi.managed, com.apple.builtinwireless.managed
Supported operating systems and channels: iOS, iPadOS, Shared iPad device, macOS device, tvOS, watchOS 10, visionOS 1.1.
Supported enrollment methods: User Enrollment, Device Enrollment, Automated Device Enrollment.
Duplicates allowed: True—more than one Wi-Fi payloads can be delivered to a user or device.
You can use the settings in the table below with theWi-Fi payloads.

Hidden Network | Specify whether the network that the device connects to is broadcasting its identity. | No |
Auto Join | Specify whether to automatically join the network without notifying users. | No |
Disable captive network detection (iOS, iPadOS) | Users won’t have an opportunity to join networks that require agreements or other information prior to network access. | No |
Disable association MAC address randomization (iOS, iPadOS, watchOS 10) | When users connect to a specific Wi-Fi network, their device uses a nonprivate MAC address. | No |
