efficient and professional service

I've had 23 windows furnished by Hillarys across three houses. They make the process easy with their measuring, supply, and fitting service. It's an efficient and hassle free service which has been super helpful following a big house move and all the chaos that goes with it. Hillary's have been generous in sending me as many samples as I've needed to help me decide on colour and pattern of my Roman blinds. And in my previous house, when the clips on the back of my blinds have snapped, Hillarys have sent me a whole packet of replacement clips, free of charge. My most recent fitter has been Graham in Bicester (114362) who has been knowledgeable and efficient in measuring and fitting my products.

Great service

I was kept informed of arrival time. I don't live at property so timeliness and communication were crucial. I was not disappointed and the repair carried out effectively, giving me continued usage of a washing machine over 10yrs old. A win for my pocket, my tenants, and the planet

Careful and respectful of my property

Drivers were exceptionally careful in taking a very large and heavy headboard up my newly painted stairwell. They made it seem effortless. Very polite and professional.

Your staff were superb

Your staff were superb. An older lady and gentleman. Nothing was too much trouble for the lady. She advised without being pushy in her sales approach. The male staff member was very patient. I ended up buying 2 pairs of knee high boots. Very competitively priced and more importantly, very practical, stylish, and comfortable.

Poor tracking and messaging service.…

I received a message at 1.18pm telling me my parcel would be delivered between 12.30pm and 2pm. I was out. A delivery attempt was made half an hour later at 1.51pm. Although I was out, I opened the electric gate remotely for the parcel to be delivered but the driver did not wait long enough for the gate to open - I saw on the camera that he got in his van as the gate was opened. Very disappointed at your messaging and tracking service

Great products but poor service.

Lovely products. But despite ordering my normal size 3 shoes, they were far too big. It cost me £4.95 for delivery and another £4.95 to return the item. For a high end retailer with a high markup on prices, very disappointed that delivery and returns carry a charge. At least one should be free. I will be sticking to the excellent service offered by Boden.

Perfect perfect perfect!

Arrived today and is a perfect fit. So flattering. The skirt on the leggings is perfect length and modest but attractive. Delivery was spot on. I was able to use a visual tracker to see the transit journey all the way from USA to England. Can't wait to get in the pool on Thursday for my first gym session after Ramadan. Over the moon with finding Modli products.

Impressive service and great value product

Watch received within days of ordering and in time to be gifted as 40th birthday present. Recipient has reported it is in full working order. I had a bad experience with another online discounted watch retailer so was very doubtful about this purchase. So far, I am impressed and pleased with the product and service received. My only reservation is that TIC only allows a short 72hr window within which to report a faulty product. This can be difficult when gifting so I needed to order as close as possible to birthday. However, product received on time, beautifully presented And in good working order.

Roman Blinds

9 of 12 of my windows were dressed with Hilary's Roman Blinds. Great choice and quality of fabric in variety of price ranges. Equally important was the fact that Hilarys measured and fitted. All I had to do was choose and pay. Great follow up service when needed. I've had one broken winding mechanism which was replaced at a cost of £80. Adjustments were done free. I have recently had some broken clips on one of my blinds but I would imagine this is to be expected as the blinds are now around 5years old. I would have rated Hilary's 5* but my John Lewis blind is better in terms of construction but was double the price. I have come back to Hilary's time and time again and will continue to do so.

My flowers were sent to someone who lives in a remote and isolated area on the west coast of Scotland. They arrived on time and the recipient was delighted. I received a text message from Claire's to tell me when the flowers were despatched which was really helpful .

Consistently competitive on premium

Consistently competitive on premium. Claims handling was very good by JL, but contractor appointed was awful (Readings Louden Building Services). Loss adjustor did not have much clout in acting as intermediary but tried his best. 5 stars on price and service from JL, but please review your contractors.
