100% Recommend

We purchased a wood store and x2 double bin stores. These arrived with very good assembly instructions (via email) and are very very sturdy! One of the bin lids was slightly damaged which the company replaced without any issues what so ever! Definitely recommend if you are looking for robust wooden furniture that you know will last!

Poor Communication

Ordered vape juice for the first time from and the company reached out to say they didn't have the juice I wanted, but offered alternatives or a refund. I requested a refund, which was acknowledged, and waited for the refund to arrive.
Instead, I received a confirmation from DPD the juice had been delivered several days later! In the meantime I had ordered from elsewhere.
I had to email a couple of times to ask what had happened as didn't receive any further comm's from them initially.
Good communication is the key to everything as builds trust and confidence! I personally wouldn't order from them again on this basis.

Review of Boots

Check your points - don't assume!

Typically make my larger purchases online and will use a boots points boost voucher alongside this. Never had a problem with the items or delivery but EVERY single time, my additional points aren't applied. I then need to phone to get these added. It doesn't matter how often I say this to customer services - it continues to happen (for probably about 5+ yrs). I suspect Boots hopes customers don't notice tbh.
My advice to others who assume their additional points have been added is to check their account once you have received your items - and if not phone up customers services to get them added!

No longer reliable

Lookfantastic used to be a very reliable site to find all of your great beauty buys and more. However they have become more and more unreliable with bits of the order being sent late, one item I am still waiting for over a week later (not even dispatched yet) and...they sent my free sample of a tiny perfume completely separately (the packaging and postage must have cost more - never mind the carbon footprint!). Come on Lookfantastic - this very poor customer service. I will certainly think twice before i use them again - competitor sites are more reliable.

06Feb24 Update - Relates to order#: 648845511. Customer services also now ignoring emails requesting a refund for the elusive item! Appalling customer service.

Appalling Customer Service - Steer Clear

Having washed a Temperature Balance Quilted Mattress Protector from The White company for just the 2nd time, there was a huge hole along the seam between the heavy quilted part and the thin elasticated cotton 'skirt' part.
Firstly, trying to arrange for this to be returned was extraordinarily painful. Eventually I lugged this very heavy cover to a store for it to be 'inspected' - only to be told that it still had to be sent away which they arranged.
Then, yet again, when trying to chase the progress of this 'inspection' - I ended up getting different customer service (CS) members coming back to me only to be told to phone the store myself as they couldn't locate the cover. Really??!
Finally, after much to and fro with the different CS members, eventually they must have 'found' the cover and I am informed that as the cover was outside of the 30day return period they would only give me a shopping voucher for the same value.
Utterly disgraceful customer service - not only was this £150 mattress cover clearly not fit for purpose and very poorly designed with cheap materials, the incredibly poor customer service has taken this complaint to a whole other level.
The White Company have lost a very loyal customer who has spent a fortune there over the past few years. This is a high end store with very poor values and customer service.

SCAM

Scam. As all other reviewers have shared - there is a HIDDEN subscription charge that comes out a week later.
Feel silly as normally very careful with these things. Have written to the company and received a ridiculous response. Bank now involved.
Please don’t fall victim to this ‘company’.

Can't be trusted despite assurances and guarantees

Like so many other reviewers on here....I have been waiting since April for the pergola. I have received many apologies, assurances - oh...and a guaranteed dispatch date and still no pergola. So let's see - been 'assured' it will be dispatched on 25th July now. I am just hoping it has all the parts, lights and but sadly daren't hold my breath. Apparently customer service means everything to them - I wonder if deliberately fabricating the truth is all part of their customer service plan? I wouldn't shop with them again - can't be trusted.

Avoid Avoid Avoid!

Ordered a TV unit from this company as a moving in present for my daughter. Should be fairly straight forward, right?! No! The courier company (XDP) essentially lied twice about trying to deliver it and although Noa and Nani responded to my email complaint - when I tried to phone them at 14:20 (after the courier failed to deliver for a third time) - an answer message said all the phone lines were closed!! My daughter got her TV unit in then end - but had to give the courier company another address miles away for them to take it to instead and she met them there!! Apparently postcodes are irrelevant requirement for deliveries these days!
Extremely poor customer service from Noa and Nani and the courier company they procure. Would NEVER buy from them again.

Drying for >50+ old yr skin

Easy to order. Quick delivery. Colour match was pretty good but....goodness did the foundation make my skin super dry! I'm a slightly mature customer and would encourage other >50yr customers to think before you buy - esp' if you like dewy, more youthful skin. I am returning the product - I just hope they refund without hassle. Coverage was very good but REALLY drying!

Do Not Use - It's a Con

A friend recommended Stitch Fix. I've since had words with her!! ;o)
Dire dire dire.....no styling involved. Must be a computer algorithm. I literally got sucked in to thinking someone read my feedback on the email selection sent. Heard nothing for over 2w and the next thing I know they have sent me a selection of clothing that I already said I wouldn't ever wear. Complained to them and got almost an automated response without any acknowledgement of my complaint. Do not trust them - especially as they are now closing down as probably hoping to get rid of as much stock as possible. Made sure the items were returned following day and ensured that there is no way they can 'accidentally' take any more money from me via the saved payment option that is linked to profile. Please beware.

Hillarys could do better but fitter great!

Had some challenging issues with Hillarys that resulted in spending a few months in a new home due an incomplete order.
However, the review rating is mainly regarding our fitter (Dan/#NOBUSPF). He has been excellent. Very helpful, friendly and professional. Did a great job fitting the remaining shutters.

Use with caution

Having received my order (#VK5946) in the post, the package had been damaged with 1 box missing and a note from Royal Mail confirming damage. Royal Mail said to request missing item from vendor. This vendor on-line chat was fairly responsive that day and they assured me they would send the missing box. 2 weeks later - still not received. On-line chat again with the vendor and i was assured my missing box of vapes would be with me within the next 3 days. No vapes arrived by 1 week later and surprise surprise, they are now not responding via on-line chat (been trying for over 1hr) and no body picks up the phone or responds to emails. All of this suggests the missing vapes were never sent and there was no intent to send in the first place. Disgraceful service.
I will now try and claim back my money.

UPDATE 20Apr23: The vendor has now sent the missing vapes plus an additional one for my inconvenience. Whilst I am obviously happy with the outcome I would still urge some caution given the amount of chasing I had to do to get these sent to me (over 3w). Personally I wouldn't use again.
