Energy Saver device management payload settings for Apple devices
Use the Energy Saver payload to configure power-related settings for users of a Mac that enrolls in a device management service. You need to manually set some hardware-specific options on the Mac because they aren’t available through a configuration profile. To view specific Energy Saver settings, see Change energy saver preferences on Mac.
The Energy Saver payload supports the following. For more information, see Payload information.
Supported payload identifier: com.apple.MCX
Supported operating systems and channels: macOS device.
Supported enrollment methods: Device Enrollment, Automated Device Enrollment.
Duplicates allowed: False—only one Energy Saver payload can be delivered to a device.
You can use the settings in the table below with the Energy Saver payload.

Desktop | Use the settings in the Desktop pane to configure settings for desktop Mac computers. The settings available mirror those in the Energy Saver in System Settings. | No |

Schedule | Use the settings in to schedule Startup or Wake times, as well as Sleep or Shutdown times. The settings available mirror those in:

Destroy FileVault key on standby | Prevents macOS from storing a temporary FileVault key in SMC or RAM when the Mac is on standby. | No |
Disable Sleep | Prevents the Mac from going to sleep. | No |
