Send a mix to multiple destinations in Logic Pro for Mac
You can route your mix to several output destinations using aux channel strips.
For example, you might have the channel strips in the Mixer routed to the Stereo Output, with the output destination set to your main speakers. You want to create a separate headphone mix, perhaps with additional effects. To do this, you could additionally route the channel strips to an aux channel strip, with the aux channel strip routed to a separate output destination on your audio interface to which your headphone amp is connected.
Output a single channel strip to two destinations
In Logic Pro, select all of the channel strips in the mix by Shift-clicking them.
Click the Output slot of one of the selected channel strips, then choose the main output destination for the mix, such as Stereo Out.
Click the Send slot on one of the selected channel strips, then choose the bus to use for the separate headphone mix.
An aux channel strip is created automatically. The Input slot of the aux channel strip shows the name of the bus you chose.
Click the Output slot of the aux channel strip, then choose the second output destination for the mix, in this case the one connected to the headphone amp.
Your mix is now routed to both the main speakers and to the output going to the headphones. The mix routed to the speakers includes any effects on the Stereo Out channel strip, while the mix routed to the headphone amp includes any effects added on the aux channel strip.
Using additional aux channel strips, you can route your mix to additional destinations.
