Use external symbol fonts in a score in Logic Pro for Mac

You can use an external (third-party) symbol font such as the Sonata font (available from Adobe) or Bravura (available from the Standard Music Font Layout website) for display and printout of notes and symbols, rather than the internal Logic Pro score font. The external font must be properly installed on your computer.

Use an external symbol font in the Score Editor

  • Choose File > Project Settings > Score >, click Global, then choose a symbol font in the Symbol Font area.
