Accessibility settings in Logic Pro for Mac

You can change elements of the Logic Pro for Mac interface to work optimally with macOS accessibility features.

The Accessibility pane contains the following settings:

  • Playing checkbox: Select to have VoiceOver announce the playhead position when you start or stop playback.

  • Recording checkbox: Select to have VoiceOver announce the playhead position when you start or stop recording.

  • Scrubbing checkbox: Select to have VoiceOver announce the playhead position when you move the playhead.

  • Open Plug-in windows in Controls view by default checkbox: When this option is selected, plug-in windows open in Controls view, making plug-in parameters available for use with VoiceOver.

Important: To use VoiceOver in Logic Pro, turn on VoiceOver in System Settings > Accessibility.
