Future Gaze (Japanese: 未来を選ぶ瞳 Eye that chooses the future) is an assist skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes. Future Gaze switches the positions of its user and an adjacent ally (like Swap); grants Future Witness, Dodge, and Foe Penalty Doubler to the user, target, and nearby allies; and grants the user an additional action.

  2. Enables Canto (2).[effect 1] Grants +5 each to attack, speed, defense, and resistance to user and foe's first attack deals −7 damage during combat, and if user initiates combat and foe's attack can trigger foe's special, inflicts +1 special cooldown count on foe before foe's first attack during combat.
  3. If unit's speed > foe's speed, unit takes −⁠([unit's speed − foe's speed] × 4; maximum: 40)% damage (except from Røkkr specials).
  4. Inflicts −⁠(current penalty on each stat; calculated independently) each to foe's attack, speed, defense, and resistance during combat through unit's next action.

【Future Witness】
Enables【Canto (2)】.

Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit and reduces
damage from foe's first attack by 7 during
combat ("first attack" normally means only
the first strike; for effects that grant "unit
attacks twice," it means the first and second
strikes), and also, if unit initiates combat and
foe's attack can trigger foe's Special, inflicts
Special cooldown count+1 on foe before
foe's first attack during combat (cannot
exceed the foe's maximum Special cooldown).

【Dodge】
If unit's Spd > foe's Spd, reduces damage from
attacks during combat and from area-of-effect
Specials (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect
Specials) by percentage = difference between
stats × 4 (max 40%).

【Foe Penalty Doubler】
Inflicts penalty on unit's Atk/Spd/Def/Res
during combat = any current penalty on each
of those stats. Calculates each stat penalty
independently.

【Canto (2)】
After an attack, Assist skill, or structure
destruction, unit can move 2 space(s).
(Once per turn. Only highest value applied.
Does not stack.)

【敵弱化増幅】
戦闘中、敵の攻撃、速さ、守備、魔防が
敵が受けている攻撃、速さ、守備、魔防の
弱化の値だけ減少(能力値ごとに計算)

直後に2マス移動できる
