The Grid serve location I use is good, however!

The Grid serve location I use is good, the team very friendly and you can grab a nice bite to eat while you charge. However this is the downside, I have a hybrid that needs to be charged every so often on a 22kw charger. I have my car since March and only 2 of the 5 chargers are useable, (Its been like this since Mar 25.) the more frustrating bit is your app says they are good to use. I dont like to complain but they dont seem to be getting fixed.

Uneventful charging session

The charging process was smooth and problem free. The only annoying part of it was the sight of all the Tesla- only chargers at Exeter costing much less than Gridserve

First 2 chargers failed to establish…

First 2 chargers failed to establish connection with car. I have toured Scotland for last 2 weeks and charged virtually every day with no problems until here. 3 charger only started after calling helpline.

Have found Gridserve to be one of the most unreliable CPO

M40 CHERWELL SERVICES

I'm a regular user of Gridserve and charging normally hassle free. I've tried charging at Cherwell services on 3 separate occasions and it has been a disaster each time wih unsuccessful charging. Will not waste time trying to use again.

A bit temperamental.

I had to go to Sheffield. I used the app 3 times, and the first 2x was great. However my 3rd usage did not work, it just keeps on erroring and didn't recognise the chg. I had to eventually use my credit card directly. Hopefully it was a glitch and it will work 100% the next time. Otherwise I would have gave it 5*, as it the app displayed all the information and cost realtime.

Fast, reliable but very expensive

Lots of chargers available and started charge using the app. Very fast charge rate and lots of info via the app including charge curve, % charged and costs - talking of which, 79p/kwh is an outrageous amount of money and almost makes it cheaper to run an ICE car.

Got sorted on third charger. I hate how expensive these chargers are when I paid Tesla on average 30p per kW but they all seem to be around the same high price. To be fair, in the end, charge was successful and not too much hassle.
