Kevin Qinghong Lin is a postdoctoral researcher of AI at the University of Oxford, where he is developing AI agents that combine visual and language understanding to observe, reason and act. The young scientist is creating intelligent assistants that can accelerate research workflows as 'co-scientists' or serve as interactive tutors, as he aims to develop AI that can eventually learn on its own. Lin, who is from China, holds a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the National University of Singapore. Academic papers with contributions from him have been cited more than 3,000 times.
