Golden Knights' Kaedan Korczak: Forces overtime Saturday
Korczak scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Ducks.
Korczak ended a seven-game point drought with the tally, which tied the game with 5:07 left in regulation. The 24-year-old blueliner is up to two goals, one assist, 17 shots on net, 26 hits, 22 blocked shots, 10 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 14 appearances. He's been in the lineup consistently as a third-pairing defenseman, so expect Korczak's scoring contributions to remain fairly limited.

Golden Knights' Brett Howden: Scores early in overtime loss
Howden scored a goal on three shots and added two hits in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Ducks.
Howden had to play a season-high 16:36 in this contest, as he filled in at center for William Karlsson (lower body), who left after the first period. The 27-year-old Howden has scored three goals over 10 appearances this season, and he's added 10 shots on net, 18 hits and a minus-5 rating. He's nowhere near the pace that saw him earn 23 goals and 40 points in 80 regular-season outings last year, so most fantasy managers can likely find a better depth forward than Howden on the waiver wire.

Golden Knights' Pavel Dorofeyev: Finds twine on power play
Dorofeyev scored a power-play goal on three shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Ducks.
Dorofeyev snapped a season-worst three-game goal drought with his third-period tally Saturday. The winger is up to 10 goals and an assist through 14 contests, with six of those tallies and the helper coming on the power play. He's added 40 shots on net and a minus-1 rating. Dorofeyev is still seeing prime minutes on the first power-play unit, but Vegas hasn't been as efficient in the absence of Mark Stone (wrist), who is still at least a week away from returning, though no official timeline has been established. Dorofeyev's goal-scoring skill is too good to drop, but it's best to play the matchups in fantasy with him, as he adds little else when he isn't filling the net.

Golden Knights' Akira Schmid: Can't slow down Ducks
Schmid stopped 25 of 29 shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Ducks.
Schmid gave up three goals over the first two periods before settling in enough to allow the Golden Knights to force overtime. However, Jacob Trouba scored 4:28 into the extra session to hand Schmid the loss. This was just the second time in eight outings Schmid has been tagged for four-plus goals. He's gone 6-1-1 with a 2.51 GAA and a .901 save percentage so far. The 25-year-old has been alternating starts with Carl Lindbom recently, but it's unclear if that pattern will continue for the Golden Knights' four-game week ahead, which begins Monday at home versus the Panthers.

Golden Knights' William Karlsson: Dealing with lower-body injury
Karlsson sustained a lower-body injury versus the Ducks on Saturday, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports.
Head coach Bruce Cassidy estimated that Karlsson is in the day-to-day range, but any official update won't come until Monday at the earliest, as the Golden Knights will not practice Sunday. That leaves Karlsson in doubt -- but not yet ruled out -- for Monday's contest versus the Panthers. Alexander Holtz is likely to enter the lineup if Karlsson can't play, while Brett Howden would likely shift from the wing to center.

It's unclear what Karlsson's injury is because it wasn't noticeable during the game. The 32-year-old center is a key part of the Golden Knights' middle six, which would make him a tough loss if he's out for any time. Alexander Holtz would likely enter the lineup if Karlsson misses action, though the team might also want to add a forward from AHL Henderson for depth purposes.

Golden Knights' Akira Schmid: Set to face Anaheim
Schmid is expected to start at home against Anaheim on Saturday, per SinBin Vegas.
Schmid has a 6-1-0 record, 2.31 GAA and .908 save percentage in seven appearances in 2025-26. He earned a 24-save shutout over Detroit in his last start Tuesday. This was Hanifin's first helper of the year, though he's been limited to three games after missing time due to a lower-body injury. The 28-year-old defenseman has resumed a role in the Golden Knights' top four over the last two contests since coming off of injured reserve. He could see some power-play time on the second unit, which boosts his scoring potential, but he doesn't play a particularly physical game for a blueliner.

Eichel logged two assists and seven shots on goal in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Lightning.
Eichel had gone two games without a point, prompting head coach Bruce Cassidy to reunite him with Mitch Marner. The 29-year-old Eichel helped out on goals by Marner and Ivan Barbashev to pick up his two helpers. For the season, Eichel has eight goals, 13 assists, 57 shots on net and a plus-7 rating through 13 appearances, pulling into a three-way tie for first place in points (21) with San Jose's Macklin Celebrini and Edmonton's Connor McDavid through Thursday's action.

Golden Knights' Mitch Marner: Earns three points in loss

After a few games separated from Jack Eichel at even strength, Marner was reunited with the star center and Ivan Barbashev for this game. Their line was fantastic, factoring in on all three goals, but the rest of the Vegas offense couldn't get anything going. Marner has two goals and five assists over his last four games, and he's up to four goals, 13 helpers, 23 shots on net and a plus-9 rating through 13 outings overall. This was his eighth multi-point effort of the campaign, and the 28-year-old has yet to record just a single point in a contest this season.

Lindbom stopped 21 of 26 shots in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Lightning. The sixth goal was an empty-netter.
Lindbom is still in search of his first win at the NHL level, as this defeat sent him to 0-2-1 on the year. He's faced the Lightning in both of the Golden Knights' games against them, but he didn't fare as well on home ice as he did in Tampa on Oct. 26. With 10 goals allowed on 79 shots over three appearances, Lindbom is a risky option for fantasy managers. The Golden Knights will likely turn back to Akira Schmid for a tough home matchup versus the Ducks on Saturday.

Lindbom was the first goalie to exit the ice Thursday, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports, indicating he'll be between the pipes again home versus the Lightning.
Lindbom has lost his first two starts of the year, going 0-1-1 despite a decent 2.50 GAA. With Adin Hill (lower body) sidelined, the 22-year-old Lindbom figures to serve as the No. 2 option behind Akira Schmid, who will see the bulk of the starts for the time being.

In a meeting of two teams with strong offenses, Barbashev's tally at 13:45 of the second period was the only one to find the back of the net. The goal snapped a four-game stretch without one for the veteran winger, who added two assists in that span. He remains in a top-line role, but he has logged ice time between 14 and 17 minutes in every outing this year, usage more in line with a middle-six forward.
