— Figure description from Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed WorldSpring Mouth is a Mouthful Mode exclusive to the Starry Stages present in the Star-Crossed World portion of Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World that involves Kirby wrapping himself around a spring, forcing him to bounce continuously. While using this mode, Kirby can make one especially high jump to conquer large gaps between platforms or smash down in the air to break cracked ground and crystals, and defeat enemies below him.

Moveset[edit]
- A (or B) - High Jump: Makes Kirby jump much higher than he automatically does.
- B (or Y) - Smash Down: Kirby coils up and smashes downwards. Can be used at any time to break cracked ground and crystals, and defeat enemies.
Trivia[edit]
- According to an interview from Nintendo DREAM, the developers planned for Spring Mouth to be included in the original Kirby and the Forgotten Land and was tested during its development, however, it would end up being scrapped at the time. It was revisited for Star-Crossed World due to the enhanced specs of the Nintendo Switch 2 allowing easier implementation.[1]
