Machine Planet Mekkai (known as Mecheye in the original version) is one of the planets which Kirby can visit in Milky Way Wishes, in Kirby Super Star and Kirby Super Star Ultra. It is a planet completely built over with machinery similar to that of the Halberd, and has Heavy Lobster as its Boss. Mekkai is home to two Copy Essences Deluxe. These are Plasma and Yo-yo.

Overview[edit]
The stage begins as Kirby flies past several metal pillars to crash into a small room with a door inside.
Through the door, Kirby finds himself in an open area and must bound across elevated platforms over a large abyss. Halfway through, he will need to use some rotating cannons to blast through a barricade that stretches all the way up from the chasm. Further right, the door can be accessed after breaking a Bomb Block causing many recovery items to plummet, save for an Invincible Candy.
The next area is a closed-off region, with two paths leading to the right. The lower path is riddled with spike pits and other hazards, though this is no problem if Kirby is still invincible from earlier. The upper path is split into smaller chambers, with one bearing a strong breeze, making it difficult to access the door up above, though this door is optional. To the right, the path splits into several small ducts with switches and gates inset. Kirby will need to pass through these gates to reach the door on the other side.
In the last area, Kirby can use an elevator to access several different rooms, most of which hold mid-bosses, making this area similar to a Tower of Mid-Bosses. Most of these fights are optional, but Bonkers guards the door that leads to the boss.

Boss: Heavy Lobster[edit]

Heavy Lobster serves as the boss of this stage. In Kirby Super Star, the fight is identical to his battle in Revenge of Meta Knight. In Kirby Super Star Ultra, Heavy Lobster sports a silver color and increased health, with the background also having been changed into a factory creating more Heavy Lobsters. Just like before, Heavy Lobster can be blinded using the Paint ability. Defeating Heavy Lobster clears the stage.
