Super Conductors is an upcoming Match-Three Game made by Odaclick Game Studio and James Farr. Yes, that James Farr. And the game is technically part of TRAINS-FORMERS universe, although for obvious copyright reasons it takes place on another island very, very far away from Sodor.

Specifically, it takes place on the island of Steamhaven, where the threat of MT-1 and his monstrous Railborne machines has caused the formation of the Rail Guard. The game stars the locomotive/transforming robot Tendertech 2600 (and his human engineer, who’s technically the player character) as they fight to save Steamhaven, stop MT-1, and maybe even prevent The End of the World as We Know It.

The game’s official website can be found here, although it is currently rather empty. Its Steam (heh, steam) page is here, and the official trailer, uploaded to YouTube on October 4, 2025, is here. Officially, a demo was set to release in spring 2026; however, that season has come and passed without any sign of such a demo.

Tropes in Super Conductors include:

• Added Alliterative Appeal: Apparently, the “Rail Guard” is a short name for the Railway Robot Rescue Reserve.
• Advanced Tech 2000: The main locomotive/robot is a Tendertech Intellitrack 2600. He starts out being called "Tendertech 2600", but, according to James Farr, the player will get a chance to name him.
• Animating Artifact: Chootonium, according to James Farr, the reason why Steamhaven locomotives are alive; it can also give life to other machines, such as the smiling helicopter seen at one point in the trailer soundtrack video.
• Alliterative Name: The leader of the Rail Guard is named Tilda von Trestle.
• Chainsaw Good: One of the opposing robots seen in the trailer, named “Chophouse”, has chainsaws in the place of its hands.
• Continuity Cameo: The human engineer bears more than a passing resemblance to Vector Farr, engineer of Opthomas Prime.
• Creator Cameo: James Farr has confirmed that the Trains-Formers Running Gag of him and his wife being stopped in their car at railroad crossings whenever something interesting happens will continue into this game.
• Cute Machines: It took less than 24 hours after the game was announced for the fanbase to decide this of Tendertech 2600. Just look at the face he’s making in the poster!
• Descriptiveville: In the trailer, the only location that doesn’t have some sort of train-pun name is a town mentioned on a station board called “Harborville”.
• Disembodied Eyebrows: Tendertech 2000 has a pair which appear to be made out of brass.
• Flintstone Theming: Just about everything on Steamhaven Island is themed around trains and steam power; heck, there's even (as revealed in the official trailer soundtrack upload) a burger joint called "Cow Catchers".
• Funny Animal: An anthropomorphic frog and jackalope are seen waiting at the “Seastack Shallows” station in the trailer; later, an said anthropomorphic frog is revealed to be Rail Guard mechanic named “Rivets”.
• Fun with Acronyms: In the closed captions for the trailer, the word "Trainsformers" is rendered as "T.R.A.I.N.S.F.O.R.M.E.R.s"; when asked, James Farr reveals that that stands for "Train Robots Aiding In Navigational Safety, Freight Optimization, Railway Maintenance and Emergency Rescue".
• Hello, [Insert Name Here]: You'll be able to name your train in the final game; names used for Tendertech in trailer footage include "TR56" and "Tankboy".
• Lions and Tigers and Humans... Oh, My!: The world of the game contains regular humans, locomotives that turn into giant robots, evil “Railborne” robots that transform from other pieces of railway equipment, Funny Animals (including anthropomorphic versions of jackalopes and possibly other mythical animals), and, according to the Steam page, the “Dark Lord Choochoolhu”.
• Logging onto the Fourth Wall: The website featured on Tilda’s Uncle Sam Wants You poster is the official website for the game.
• Match-Three Game: How the gameplay is done. The trailer showcases two scenes of this- what appears to be a tutorial where you’re matching unlit coals, burning coals, and water drops, and proper gameplay where you match four technical elements to attack your foes.
• Moody Trailer Cover Song: The trailer features a slow, minor-key remix of, of all songs, “I’ve Been Workin’ on the Railroad”. Despite how odd it is, it’s surprisingly poignant.
• Mythology Gag:
  • One of the unlockable weapons is a giant red hammer, which vaguely resembles James’ hammer from TRAINS-FORMERS.
  • The frog mechanic, Rivets, has a similar name to Rivet, Hephaestus Von Toot's pet robot frog from Farr's previous copyright-free TRAINS-FORMERS substitute ''The Sky High City Of Steampuff''.
• Premiseville: The game apparently takes place on “Steamhaven Island”; other location names seen in it include Couplers Cove, Seastack Shallows, Whistlewick Harbor, Puff Puff Pass, Trackalope Trench, and Saint Sootsburg.
• Pun-Based Title: A “superconductor” is a material that conducts electricity with near-zero resistance, but this game is about the train sort of conductor.
• Really Was Born Yesterday: According to a scene from the trailer, Tendertech 2600 only came to life at the start of the trailer.
  Tendertech 2600: Good morning! Please stand by as I briefly weather the world-shattering existential shock of coming to life!
• Robot Names: The game’s antagonist, according to the Steam page, is named MT-1.
• Sentient Vehicle: The main protagonist is a living steam engine that turns into a giant robot; he’s called Tendertech 2600 by default but the player has a chance to change that; the game footage in the trailer comes from a run where he's named “Tankboy”.
• Transforming Mecha: This is technically a part of the TRAINS-FORMERS universe, after all; there are also villain robots that seem to transform from various pieces of railway equipment.
• Uncle Sam Wants You: At the Seastack Shallows station, a poster of Tilda von Trestle imitating Uncle Sam’s famous pose can be seen; beneath it is text saying “I Want You For the Rail Guard” and a link to “JoinTheRailGuard.com” (the game’s website).
• Unobtanium: One scene in the trailer mentions a material called “Chootonium”; apparently, the refinery for it is under attack. The soundtrack video includes billboards in the back mentioning "Infernactite", which is bad (judging by the name) and can be an impurity in raw Chootonium.
• Wind Turbine Power: A shot in the trailer shows Tendertech crossing a bridge with several giant wind turbines in the background; these can also be seen in the world map.
• Wind-Up Key: This game's verson of Trouble-Tron is revealed to have one of these on her back in one shot.
• Writing Around Trademarks: Everything related directly to Thomas & Friends has been removed, with Tendertech 2600 clearly taking the place of Opthomas Prime, since sentient trains and transforming robots aren't directly copyrighted.
