• There are a good slew of AC/DC references contained within JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
  • One of the Pillar Men from Battle Tendency is named Esidisi, which is the Japanese Romanization of AC/DC.
  • Akira Otoishi, the Disc-One Final Boss of Diamond is Unbreakable, has cuff links that say "AC/DC", which not only references the band, but is also in light of his status as an aspiring electric guitarist.
  • The Stand of Thunder McQueen from Stone Ocean is named Highway to Hell.
  • Steel Ball Run has no short of three references to AC/DC.
    • Funny Valentine, the President of the United States and Affably Evil Big Bad, has a Stand called Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.
    • The Stand of Gyro Zeppeli, and presumably anybody else who can master the "Spin" technique, is called Ball Breaker.
    • The final few chapters of Steel Ball Run, and one of the few times a chapter is named after a music reference, are called "High Voltage".

• In the Lamput episode "Rock Concert", the concert referenced in the title is supposed to be for a musical group called "AB/CD".

• The Kedabory Verse:
  • In Seraphina's episode of Kedabory's Muppet Mania, Rizzo wanders on stage in a leather jacket during Sam's speech, claiming that he's "back in black".
  • In Rise of the Save-Ums DX, some of the songs on Smithy and Speedy's official playlist include "Back in Black" and "T.N.T".

Films — Live-Action

• Doug from Wild Hogs wears an AC/DC T-shirt.
• Empire Records: To blow off steam, Joe goes into his office and puts on "If You Want Blood (You Got It)", which he plays drums to, and other staff at the store sing along to or lip-sync to.
• In The LEGO Ninjago Movie, Cole wears an AC/DC T-shirt with the band's logo written in Ninjagoese.
• In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, not only Iron Man earned some songs by the band (the soundtrack to Iron Man 2 is even an AC/DC compilation), but he is visibly a fan, with his entrance in Germany in The Avengers (2012) having Tony hijack SHIELD's audio systems to play "Shoot to Thrill". In Spider-Man: Far From Home, Tony's plane plays some AC/DC while creating Spidey's new suit (although Peter mistakes it for Led Zeppelin...).
• School of Rock: Dewey tests Zack's guitar skills with "Highway to Hell", he does a call to arms directly lifted from "For Those About to Rock", and during the end credits, Dewey and the band perform "It's a Long Way to the Top (If you Wanna Rock-n-Roll)".
• In The Super Mario Bros. Movie, "Thunderstruck" plays during the sequence where Mario, Peach, and Toad make their karts in the Jungle Kingdom.

• In The Half-Life of Planets, a minor character wears a fake vintage AC/DC T-shirt.

• In the Supernatural episode "Monster Movie", Sam and Dean go undercover as Agent Angus and Agent Young.
• In 30 Rock, private investigator Lenny Wozniak once posed as a high school student. He was wearing what was meant to be an AC/DC shirt which instead read MUSIC/BAND.
• Power Rangers: Dino Thunder has two episodes named "Back in Black" and "Thunderstruck".

Professional Wrestling

• Balls Mahoney used "Big Balls" as his entrance theme in ECW.
• WrestleMania 25's theme song was a live album recording of "Shoot to Thrill".
• WWE SmackDown used "Are You Ready" as its theme song as of the 2019 WWE Draft.

• JoJo's OC Tournament:
  • Shining Sandstorm: Big Jack's Stand, Shoot To Thrill, is named after the second song on Back in Black.
  • Worldwind Tour: Cliff Currenty's Stand, Big Balls, is named after the eponymous song from Dirty Deeds Done Dirty Cheap.

• In Seasons 1 and 2 of The Amazing World of Gumball, Rocky Robinson can be seen wearing an "AB/CD" shirt, with a logo meant to be that of AC/DC.
• Beavis and Butt-Head: Butt-Head's Limited Wardrobe includes an AC/DC logo shirt.
• Logorama: The AC/DC logo, alongside the Run–D.M.C. logo, can be seen inside the cop car when Esso Girl and Big Boy hijack it.
• The Simpsons:
  • In "I'm Spelling as Fast as I Can", when Lisa is training as people give her words to spell:
