"Disco girl...coming through...that girl is you..."
- In Breaking and Entering (2006), Will lists ABBA as one of Sweden's exports. Liv sings part of "Knowing Me, Knowing You."
- Muriel's Wedding: The title character is a homely young woman whose only joy in life is from listening to ABBA, at least until she reinvents her life to make it as good as an ABBA song.
- Together (2000): The film closes with the major characters playing soccer in the snow while "S.O.S." plays in the background.
- In Bounders, some of the kids refer to Mira, who twirls when she walks, as Dancing Queen.
- Better Call Saul: The episode "Winner" begins with a Happy Flashback where brothers Jimmy and Chuck McGill sing "The Winner Takes It All". Also a tragic in-universe Hope Spot as Jimmy thinks he's getting his brother's love finally. He's not.
- Community: In "Epidemiology", the gang have to survive a Zombie Apocalypse while putting up with the Dean's ABBA mix playing on a loop through the PA system, resulting in amusing Soundtrack Dissonance.
- The BBC TV series Gimme, Gimme, Gimme is named after the song. There was also the episode "I Do, I Do, I Do" in the first season, named after another of their songs, which was also about one of the main characters getting married.
- Horrible Histories: "The Norman Family Tree" crams a load of ABBA references into the story of the fight between Matilda and Stephen for the English throne.
- Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge was named after "Knowing Me, Knowing You", and Alan's enthusiastic "Ah-HAAAAH!" was a reference to the refrain of the song. (The fact that Alan chose a song about a relationship that's falling apart for the title of his show and that his "Ah-HAAAAH!" is far more enthusiastic than the more understated one in the song are part of the joke.)
- The Trip: At one point, Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon discuss "The Winner Take it All", and even sing part of it.
- Saturday Night Live did a holiday skit where ABBA released Christmas covers of all their songs, which basically amounted to shoehorning in references to Santa Claus and Jesus in everything. Also all the characters are 17 and dancing.
Radio
- The Australian radio version of Not Quite The News had a skit about a Dirty Cop who had taped evidence of corrupt activities that he presented to the Fitzgerald Inquiry into police corruption. In the skit the Commission investigators start playing the tapes, the first of which is Money, Money, Money.Investigator: Abba! That's really crook!

- JoJo's OC Tournament: Fortune's Reach: Antonio "Busy Bottom" Alexandria is named after the band. Don't see it? Only read the initials of his full name, nickname included...
- Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!: There are two bear characters named Benny and Björn. They run a ski-lift business...in a warm, rocky area.
- In Guilty Gear, which is already rife with musical references, there's a character named A.B.A.
- In the NES version of Ikari Warriors, the revive life code is A-B-B-A, as seen in this episode of Angry Video Game Nerd

- Knights of Buena Vista: Walter considers ABBA a good band, and is furious when Dick compares them to Nickelback.
- The Angry Beavers: The "Eurobeaver" episode features Dag trying to prove he can out "euro" Norb (who's pretending he's European to get out of doing post-winter chores) by bringing in Europop sensation "Baba," who're basically sheep parodies of ABBA. They get deported at the end of the episode alongside Norb for being in the country "illegally."
- Back at the Barnyard: In "Endangered Liasons", Inga becomes heartbroken when Freddy tells her he doesn't like her. When Freddy tries to make up with Inga, she tells him she likes to listen to her FLABBA CDs, Freddy reveals that he also likes to listen to FLABBA songs, and he and Inga bond with each other as a sound-alike of "Dancing Queen" plays.
- Gravity Falls: In "Dipper Vs. Manliness", Grunkle Stan once caught Dipper listening to "Disco Girl" by "girly Icelandic pop sensation BABBA". Later in the episode, the Multi-Bear reveals that he likes the song too.
- Pinky and the Brain: The three-part episode "Brainwashed" has a new song by the singing group BAAB, called the "Schmeerskahoven", play a central role in the plot.
- The Simpsons: In "Mother Simpson" Mr. Burns tries to play "Ride of the Valkyries" on a tape cassette before storming the Simpsons house when it suddenly segues into ABBA's "Waterloo", with Smithers apologizing for taping over it.
- Tiny Toon Adventures: In "Kon Ducki", one the things that Plucky, as Pluck Heyerdahl brings with him in his attempt to recreate his 1970s ancestors' voyage from Yap to Salinas is ABBA 8-track tapes. In addition, the episode's gag credit is "ABBA Spelled Backwards – Is ABBA".
