Tropes:

• Awkward First Sleepover: A character is nervous because it's their first sleepover/slumber party.
• Blanket Fort: Characters (usually kids) building forts, hangouts, and hideaways out of blankets, pillows, and other bedding material.
• Blanket Tug O' War: Two characters sharing a bed fight over the blankets.
• Catapult Nightmare: Someone wakes up from a nightmare by falling out of bed or sitting up abruptly.
• Catching Some Z's: "Z"s fly out of a snoring character's mouth.
• Childish Pillow Fight: Kids hitting each other with pillows for fun.
• Clingy Sleepers: Two characters who aren't usually in a relationship have to share a bed or sleeping bag, and end up cuddling.
• Comforting Comforter: Someone puts a blanket on a sleeping person to warm them up.
• Comical Nap Drool: Someone drooling in their sleep is Played for Laughs.
• Counting Sheep: Someone imagines sheep jumping over a fence and counts them in order to fall asleep.
• The Dreaded Bottom Bunk: Sleeping on the bottom bunk in a bunk bed is undesirable.
• Embarrassing Damp Sheets: Having a Potty Failure, a wet dream, or leaking menstrual blood in one's sleep.
• Embarrassing Pyjamas: Someone is embarrassed by or teased for their pajamas.
• Extremely Rude Awakening: A character wakes someone up in an annoying way.
• Face Doodling: Drawing on a sleeping person's face.
• Foot in the Face: A sleeping character wakes up with another character’s body part near or in their face.
• Fright-Induced Bunkmate: Someone is scared due to nightmares or fear of the dark and wants to sleep in someone else's bedroom.
• Gender-Invading Sleepovers: Boys try to get into a girls-only sleepover or vice-versa.
• "Getting Ready for Bed" Plot: A story in which the entire plot is about getting ready for bed.
• Go-to-Sleep Ending: The story ends with one or more characters fast asleep.
• Gossipy Hens: Girls love to gossip, especially at sleepovers/slumber parties.
• Heavy Sleeper: Someone who has Deep Sleep whenever they're asleep.
• Insomnia Episode: An episode or installment of a series that focuses on a character being unable to sleep.
• Invited as a Joke: A character who's invited to a sleepover/slumber party because the inviter wants to humiliate them.
• Life of the Party: The person that can make any sleepover/slumber party fun.
• Loud Sleeper Gag: A character begins to make comical loud noises while asleep, which disturbs other characters.
• Makeover Torment: A masculine guy is humiliated through a girly makeover.
• Nocturnal Emission: Ejaculating in one's sleep.
• Not a Party Person: A character who's attending a sleepover/slumber party they'd rather not be at.
• Pajama-Clad Hero: The hero's in their pajamas for most or all of the plot.
• Post-Nightmare Comfort: A character wakes up from a terrifying nightmare and receives comfort from a friend or loved one.
• Sleep Aesop: An Aesop that teaches the importance of sleep.
• Sleep Cute: Two or more characters sleeping close together in a cute manner.
• Sleep Deprivation: Characters can't fall asleep, either by choice or because of external factors.
• Sleep Mask: A sleep mask that says something about the wearer's personality.
• Sleep Squashing: A big character ends up rolling on and squishing somebody smaller then them while sleeping.
• Sleeps in the Nude: Someone who wears nothing to bed.
• Sleepwalking: Walking around in your sleep, having no memory of what happened when you wake up.
• Slumber Party: A nighttime gathering among friends at someone's house.
• Slumber Party Ploy: In order to do something or go somewhere they were prohibited from, kids lie to their parents that they're staying over at each others' houses.
• Snoring Beauty: A female character who snores loudly, frequently for comedic effect.
• Snot Bubble: Someone's nose comically runs in their sleep.
• Spin the Bottle: A party game where a group of people take turns spinning a bottle and have to make out with whoever the bottle ends up pointing at.
• Talking in Your Sleep: Somebody who talks even while they're asleep.
• Themed Party: A sleepover/slumber party with a motif to it.
• Tummy Cushion: One character sleeps on a larger character's stomach.
• Uninvited to the Party: A character who isn't invited to a sleepover/slumber party for a range of reasons.
• Unwanted Event Guest: A character who wasn't invited to nor wanted at a sleepover/slumber party but shows up anyway.
• Wacky Fratboy Hijinx: The crazy things college students do in fraternities or sororities, which may include wild sleepovers/slumber parties.
• Warm Milk Helps You Sleep: Trouble sleeping? Drink some warm milk.
• Warm Water Whiz: One of the guests is pranked by having their hand put in warm water while asleep, resulting in them wetting themselves and their bed or sleeping bag.
• Wild Teen Party: A rambunctious sleepover/slumber party full of teenagers.
