Control playback in Music on Apple Vision Pro

Control playback

The player at the bottom of the Music window has these controls:

Control

Description

The Play button.

Play the current song.

The Pause button.

Pause playback.

The Next button.

Skip to the next song. Pinch and hold to fast-forward through the current song.

The Previous button.

Return to the song’s beginning. Tap again to play the previous song in an album or playlist. Pinch and hold to rewind through the current song.

The More button.

Tap for more options, such as Add to Library or Go to Artist.

The Lyrics button.

Show or hide time-synced lyrics (lyrics not available for all songs).

The Queue button.

Use the queue and see recently played songs.

The Volume button.

Adjust the volume. Tap the Volume button, then pinch and drag the slider.

The Mini Player button.

Show the Mini Player. Look at the album art in the player at the bottom of the window, then tap the Mini Player button.

Adjust the volume and scrub to any point in a song

Now Playing contains additional options for controlling your music.

  • Adjust the volume: Tap the Volume button, then pinch and drag the slider.

  • Scrub to any point in a song: Pinch and drag the playhead.

See time-synced lyrics

If you’re an Apple Music subscriber, you can view time-synced lyrics.

Tap the Lyrics button. Lyrics scroll in time with the music.

To hide lyrics, tap the Lyrics button again.

Tip: Tap a specific lyric — the first line of the chorus, for example — to go to that part of the song.
