Show or hide the ruler in Pages for iCloud

You can show a ruler at the top of the screen to help position text boxes and other objects.

Note: In Pages for iCloud, you can’t drag the markers on the ruler to set margins and tab stops. Instead, use the layout and margin controls in the Format and Document  sidebar.

  1. Go to Pages for iCloud , then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).

  2. In your document, click the View button in the toolbar, then choose Show Ruler or Hide Ruler.
