Change Intelligence & Siri settings in Screen Time on Mac

Use Intelligence & Siri settings in Screen Time to restrict access to Apple Intelligence,* Siri, and Math Results.

To change these settings on your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Screen Time in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Click the Family Member pop-up menu and choose a family member (if you’re a parent/guardian in a Family Sharing group), click Content & Privacy, then click Intelligence & Siri.

Option

Description

Apple Intelligence

Allow access to Apple Intelligence* features, including Image Creation, Writing Tools, and Intelligence Extensions. See Block access to Apple Intelligence features in Screen Time.

Siri

Allow the following types of content:

  • Siri & Dictation

  • Explicit Language in Siri and Dictionary

  • Web Search Content in Siri

Turn off any of the above to restrict this type of content.

Math Results

Allow auto-solved math results to appear in text and handwriting.

*Apple Intelligence is available in beta with support for the following languages: English, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese. Some features may not be available in all languages or regions.
