Google Accounts device management payload settings for Apple devices

You can configure Google Accounts settings for users of an iPhone, iPad, Shared iPad, or Apple Vision Pro that enrolls in a device management service. Use the Google Accounts payload to specify settings for a Google account.

The Google Accounts payload supports the following. For more information, see Payload information.

Supported payload identifier: com.apple.google-oauth
Supported operating systems and channels: iOS, iPadOS, Shared iPad user, visionOS 1.1.
Supported enrollment methods: User Enrollment, Device Enrollment, Automated Device Enrollment.
Duplicates allowed: True—more than one Google Accounts payload can be delivered to a user or device.

You can use the settings in the table below with the Google Accounts payload.

Email address	The full Google email address for the account.	Yes
Account user name	The full user name for the Google account. This is the user name that appears when you send a mail message.	No
Account description	A description of the Google account, which appears in Mail and Settings.	No
Communication service rules	You can select a default app to be used when calling contacts from this account.	No
