Export a Logic Pro for Mac project as Spatial Audio

In Logic Pro for Mac, you can export your Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos project to a Dolby Atmos ADM BWF master file for delivering to a master engineer or streaming service. You can also export your mix to an MP4 container using Dolby Digital Plus with Dolby Atmos or Dolby AC-4 L4 encoding. See Overview of exporting and bouncing Spatial Audio and surround projects.

Export the current project as Spatial Audio

  1. In Logic Pro, choose File > Export > Project as Spatial Audio.

  2. In the Export Spatial Audio File as dialog, select:

    • Project: Export the entire project.

    • Selection: Export the currently selected cycle range, marquee selection, or the range determined by the beginning of the first selected region and the end of the last selected region.

  3. From the pop-up menu, choose one of the export options:

    • Dolby Atmos ADM BWF master file

    • Dolby Digital Plus with Dolby Atmos

    • Dolby AC-4 L4

  4. If available, select a bit rate and the checkbox “Also export an uncompressed Dolby Atmos ADM BWF master.”

  5. Enter a name in the Save As field at top of the dialog, and navigate to the location where you want to save the file.

  6. Click Save.
