Requesting PID 3d14. Thank you for offering these. They will make creating projects at PCC much easier.

Thanks for your pull request!

Please read carefully the guide at http://pid.codes/howto/. Specifically:

  • You need to create an organisation page in your pull request.
  • You need to have an open-source project in need of a PID, with checked in source code or schematics.

If you're just looking for a PID for testing purposes, and your devices won't be distributed outside the college, we've reserved 0x1209/0x0001 for this purpose.

If that doesn't meet your needs, we'd be happy to consider a special case - just let us know why the 'test' PID isn't suitable.

I think your're right. I just got excited when I saw it on Hack A Day. Thank you very much for providing this to others who do have a need for a fixed PID.

No problem! If you build something more permanent, don't hesitate to open a new PR for a permanent PID.
