The conference: All Things Open 2025

I recapped the talk here,

and here are my slides. https://slides.com/mike-1/cli-and-ux

IMO, the work of your project is remarkable. It brings the lessons of content design at UIs to the command line. Thank you.

Unfortunately, no. Here's my personal recap: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/mijang_ato2025-ato2025-cls2025-activity-7384349533306236928-DpKF

Note: I include a screenshot of the output from tldr git

What a shame.
Funny for you to include tldr git. Had you done that a few months prior, the page would have been completely useless

There are plenty of excellent tldr <command> examples.

You've done great work as a community. When a developer / admin says "The man pages are too complicated," they can:

  • run tldr <name of command>
  • Say "ah, I know what to do. Glad I didn't have to spend hours (exaggeration) reading the *($&$asdf man page"
