The speed at which the Issue is now opened is super-duper fast, thank you to the GitHub engineers who have put in the effort behind the scenes!

I am very interested in the optimization magic that was done behind the scenes. If possible, could you share some insights into your experience? This would be very helpful to the community.

Wow that is amazing, but are we now also expected to solve issues faster? ☺️

This has been fixed now.

Great to see work on performance. A very quick fade view transition lasting around one or two tenths of a second might make it feel smoother, while still maintaining the responsiveness you've achieved here.

Unsure if this is related, but when viewing the Issue details page for some issues in my Project, I'm now seeing No Projects displayed under Projects (as seen in the attachment).

  • The issue is definitely in the Project, as it's listed in various Table, Board, and Roadmap views for this Project.
  • I can still modify the Sprint and Status for these Issues using the dropdowns in the Table view, and change the Status by dragging the issue in the Board view.

Note that this is specifically for Issues that do not belong to the same Repository as the Project. These were added to the Project using the add-to-project workflow.

I think there has been improvement just a few days ago in link and anchor navigation.

I still met pb when a user-defined anchor is in a "Load More" comment, while the github.com defined link towar #issuecomment- is working fine putting it in a blue rectangle and setting the web page just on it, even if these comment would have been in load more if the #issuecomment- was not passed in the url.

I don't feel like it is a big problem, so keep firm ! And I hope the next dev will not affect any user experience (I am personnly spending 1 to 2 hours on github every days since more than ten years).

Hi all,

I wanted to ask if anyone else has noticed that issues now seem to take longer to appear in the UI, even though the issue counter increases and you can access the issue directly using its number.

By UI, I mean that the issue takes longer than it used to (around 1 to 2 minutes) to appear in the Open tab and become clickable, even though the open issue counter increases. The same seems to happen when closing issues.

Is anyone else experiencing this? And if so, is this something permanent? I don’t see it mentioned anywhere else, nor do I see any problems reported on the service status page.

(also i am using a free account)

Thanks.

@azenMatt Do you have any idea why this might be happening?

Hi @teste8889 - are you still seeing this problem? I believe this was connected to an outage.
