Qualitative research projects are methodologically diverse and are increasingly carried out in teams. Existing QDA software is often complicated to use, expensive, or very limited in its capabilities (Küster/Wolf 2025).
OpenQDA attempts to solve these issues with a collaborative approach to preparation and coding and a plugin architecture for extensibility.
