Uses
assert.deepEqualinstead of using a loop directly. This catches a bug where we returned extra properties (#12936) and makes the error messages easier to read -- previously we would see a message saying that two lists aren't equal, but the lists were of different types so you couldn't use a diff to find where they differed.
