I'm a new user.
Will try to write this "Issue" to see if its a known problem or not.
I got this "use_2to3 is invalid" problem and have not seen it earlier.

Works fine: setuptools==58.0.1
Failure: setuptools>=58.0.2

Result: "error in erl_terms setup command: use_2to3 is invalid."
