🚀 Getting Started

Follow these instructions to get a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.

Prerequisites

Make sure you have the following installed on your system:

  • Node.js (v18.x or later recommended)
  • pnpm (or npm/yarn)

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/your-username/catemail.git
    cd catemail
  2. Install dependencies:

    pnpm install
  3. Set up environment variables: You'll need to create an account at EmailJS to get your credentials.

    Create a file named .env.local in the root of your project and add the following variables:

    NEXT_PUBLIC_EMAILJS_SERVICE_ID=your_service_id
    NEXT_PUBLIC_EMAILJS_TEMPLATE_ID=your_template_id
    NEXT_PUBLIC_EMAILJS_PUBLIC_KEY=your_public_key
    • your_service_id: The ID of the email service you configured in EmailJS.
    • your_template_id: The ID of the email template you created. Make sure your template includes the variables {{email}} and {{message}}.
    • your_public_key: Your EmailJS Public Key (previously User ID).

Running the Application

Once the installation is complete, you can run the development server:

pnpm run dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
