Carpeddit

A client for reddit with the latest Fluent Design principles, simple, easy to use, fast and aims to be flexible, safe and full featured.

Shutdown notice and what's next

As of the time this was written (1 July 2023), Carpeddit's API keys have been removed thus rendering existing clients unusable, because of Reddit's recent decisions for the API. There will be no more updates released for Carpeddit anymore.

I'm planning to work on a Lemmy client though as a replacement, but I might or might not keep the same branding. That's still something I have to consider later on. But I'm sure it'll be exciting.

If you'd like to still experiment with the code here yourself, check out the building instructions here. FYI this repository won't be accepting any issues or contributions, but you can experiment with the code yourself. You can feel free to contact me if you want to share what you made or added on top of the existing code if you considered building the app yourself.
