Onion Vanity

A Flask web app for generating vanity Tor onion addresses using mkp224o. This repository includes a Docker image published to Docker Hub.

 Deploy on Railway via Docker : https://hub.docker.com/r/imvickykumar999/onion-vanity

Pull the image from Docker Hub:

docker pull imvickykumar999/onion-vanity:latest

Start the app in a Docker container:

docker run -d --name onion-vanity -p 2000:2000 imvickykumar999/onion-vanity:latest

Then open your browser at:

http://localhost:2000

docker stop onion-vanity
docker rm onion-vanity

• The app exposes port 2000.
• Generated onion folders are stored inside the container at /app/mkp224o/onions.
• If you want to persist generated data, mount a host directory to /app/mkp224o/onions.

Example with persistent host volume:

docker run -d --name onion-vanity -p 2000:2000 -v "$PWD/onions":/app/mkp224o/onions imvickykumar999/onion-vanity:latest

If the host onions folder is root-owned from a previous container run, you can reset ownership before starting the container:

sudo chown -R $(id -u):$(id -g) onions

To build the image with your host user ID and keep generated files writable on the host, rebuild with:

docker build --build-arg USER_ID=$(id -u) --build-arg GROUP_ID=$(id -g) -t imvickykumar999/onion-vanity:latest .
