I'm a dev from Poland and I spend most of my time building small desktop and CLI tools for security work, basically the stuff I want on my own machine. Lately that mostly means ShieldEye, a set of scanners I'm building to catch issues in web apps.

I really like Linux and I'd rather run things locally than hand my data to some SaaS. That's why the AI parts of my tools run models on your own machine instead of shipping code off to a cloud API.

Project What it is
ShieldEye SurfaceScan The one I work on most. It maps a target's external attack surface: finds subdomains, checks which ones are live, fingerprints the tech behind them, and crawls for endpoints. TypeScript/Node.js backend with a GTK GUI, Postgres, and Docker.
ShieldEye NeuralScan A GTK desktop app that scans source code for vulnerabilities, mixing pattern matching with AI. The models (StarCoder2, Mixtral) run locally, so your code stays on your machine.
ShieldEye Core My first take on the idea: a GTK scanner that pulls together Nmap port scanning, CMS/CVE lookups, and HTTP security-header grading for quick checks on a host or small network. Everything else grew out of it.
ShieldEye ComplianceScan Checks a site against compliance baselines (GDPR, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001), looking at TLS, headers and cookies and scoring with CVSS. Python with a GTK/libadwaita UI, a CLI, and a FastAPI service.

🔭 Currently

  • Mostly working on ShieldEye SurfaceScan: better fingerprinting, more checks, and results that are easier to read.
  • Seeing how far I can push local AI models for code and security analysis without touching the cloud.
  • Cleaning up the GTK desktop UX on Linux.
