In some case, we wan't to be able to set some custom attributes on a field or a link, for example if we wan't to use swagger and set the x-code-samples value on a path.

This has already been ask in an issue: #113

This should not have any impact on the corejson or any other codec that shouldn't want to handle those custom_attributes

We're building out better support for OpenAPI with 3.0, which will address some of this.
We might choose to support extensions x-... in the future, but not something I'd like to have just yet.
