Actually in homepage there are 3 sliders of which one is a video, wait for a second or use arrows.
About products it's a trick to be able to use youtube video, with a modifed product-cover-thumbnails.tpl. (joined here)
In the BO, use product detail to add video shortcode gave by youtube in the summary form.
Add a thumbnail image for video as the first image but not for cover.
That's it

it would be great to add video support in is_imageslider.
I can see that the video support is nearly here in the default PS module PrestaShop/ps_imageslider#114
