I have the same issue but I think it is the problem of A16 and not Lsposed itself

As others have noted, it is possibly A16 issue. I don't see this getting resolved any time soon. There's a very similar app called ShortX but it is quite not polished and dev seem to not know how/want to implement few features that made xedge stand out for my use case.

Missing stuff in case anybody sees this app as potential migration path:

  • Successive adjust
  • Increasing brightness (it can however incrementally increase volume, and also can set Brightness a value but nothing variable)
  • Using edges as Brightness/Volume sliders.
  • Side bars (you can use something called hoverball but it is kinda Pie mashed up with iOS's Assistive Touch, also you have to set icons manually for each button you add, you can create as many hoverballs you want, each script creates its own but removes the other one)
  • Sub gestures
  • Possibly few other stuff that I don't use

Everything else is quite on par & better than xedge.

It is unlikely to be bug of LSPosed or Vector.

Please test of other modules work fine on your devices.

Great news for Android 16 users! The issue was indeed at the module level, as suspected. Someone has kindly ported Xposed Edge Pro to work on Android 16, and even actively tracked down and fixed bugs along the way — huge thanks to them.
This should be especially welcome news for those who had no choice but to migrate to ShortX. It's a powerful app, but as @nulledone pointed out, it's missing several things that made Xposed Edge stand out — and the configuration can be quite overwhelming.

For those looking into alternatives, here's a quick overview:

Xposed Edge Pro (Android 16 port) — XDA thread
https://xdaforums.com/t/xposed-edge-pro.3525566/page-115
EdgeX — GitHub
https://github.com/fcmfcm1999/EdgeX
ShortX — Play Store
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tornaco.apps.shortx

The XDA port is a solid stopgap, though realistically Xposed Edge Pro's development seems to have wound down, so further updates are unlikely. EdgeX, on the other hand, looks promising as an actively developed alternative — definitely one to keep an eye on.
