node-threads

"I accept I was just a kid 😅 and I did not know the concepts clearly, but I do now. Let's just keep the repository alive in the name of my childish mistakes haha."

About

This repository is a playful remnant from my early days of exploring Node.js. Back when I first created this project, I didn't have a clear understanding of the concepts behind multi-threading and concurrency in JavaScript—but that didn't stop me from trying! This project stands as a fun tribute to my learning journey and a reminder that everyone starts somewhere.

What is this?

node-threads is an experimental attempt (from my childhood coding days) to implement thread-like behavior in Node.js, before I really understood how JavaScript's event loop and concurrency actually work.

  • Disclaimer: This code is not production-ready and may not follow best practices. It's a snapshot of my journey as a young coder learning by doing.

Why keep it?

I’m keeping this repository alive as a badge of my learning progress. It’s a testament to making mistakes, growing from them, and having fun along the way.

Usage

Feel free to clone, fork, or just have a laugh at the code. If you’re learning about Node.js or threads, maybe you’ll find it amusing or educational to see how not to do things!

git clone https://github.com/ItzmeJan/node-threads.git
cd node-threads
# explore at your own risk!
