I strongly favor using Winget these days.
I'd appreciate if we can get rom properties into the Winget repo.

Oxipng went through the "same" process 1-2 years ago - afaik Oxipng used to be a standalone exe without installer too. I suggest "copying" their work in this regard, if applicable oxipng/oxipng#567. There is a difference in the programming language used however - Oxipng using Rust.

I'm not aware of the details, but I'm sure the team behind Oxipng would offer some help, if necessary.
