One of our favourite apps for learning another language, the process is genuinely fun. What’s more, all those languages and games are available for free!
Hii buckle up because this will probably be a long review. So basically I have the app and I really enjoyed when they had the mistakes thing because as long as you didn’t make too many mistakes you could do as many lessons as you want but now they have the battery update and I kinda hate it because it’s not if you don’t make mistakes you can do as many as you want,it’s you can only do a certain amount of lessons and each lesson takes up like 7 (ish) energy so you can only really do 4-5 lessons (I think tho) but it’s really annoying because sometimes i actually want to learn and I’m not tired but then it cuts me off saying the energy is gone. Also oh my gosh the amount of ads for ‘super Duolingo’ is actually INSANE!! You get an add every lesson asking if you want to upgrade to super Duolingo. I’m like 90% sure they are just money hungry now like the game used to be so good! Now they just want you to upgrade to super Duolingo and they did the battery update to promote it probably because when your battery goes down to 0 then it says ‘ oh super Duolingo has unlimited battery and no ads’ overall it’s probably like a 7/10 because apart from that I guess it’s alright I would rate 4 star but I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t show up on the reviews if it wasn’t 5 star. Overall maybe get the app if you are going on holidays to a country that speaks a different language or something. Sorry for any spelling mistakes and the long review have a great day guys! Byeeee
This app is such a great app to learn new languages. Like, I already nearly speak Spanish thanks to this app. And I’m not just saying that you can only learn Spanish obviously, I’m saying that you could learn ANY language and become fluent at it after a while. I always wanted to learn Spanish I thought I wouldn’t find an app that would teach me a new language, but this app did! Plus, Duolingo makes language learning so fun, which makes me always want to learn Spanish every single day. Oh, and speaking about everyday, theres a thing called a “streak” in the app too, for as, if you don’t practice the language you want to speak then, well, your streak is gone. The more you practice the language, the more your streak expands, and the more it expands, the more you wouldn’t wanna lose it. I’m only on a 73 day streak and im pretty close to reaching the 100 day streak. Anyways, off at the language learning bit. A very cool update came up and apparently, Duolingo added music and maths! In music, you learn keys on a piano, not much but it’s great to know the keys just so you’re prepared to impress your friend when you see a piano in their house. And if you think your maths is horrible or you failed your maths test, Maths on Duolingo will do the trick just for you! You could learn sooo much new things in maths that I bet you haven’t seen before. And, I think that’s all. I love this app and so should you! Adios!! ⭐️⭐️✌️✌️
Despite a few things (significantly less than most apps come with), Duolingo has been amazing! Recently I left a review asking for an update to call to speak in Spanish or whichever language u learn (with few other things like guardian permissio to call that person) and they didn’t do it, but added call with Lily to max. Which wasn’t useful, but whatever. Not all XP showing up on the leaderboard. That’s mostly it. My bestie is in Spain and just met a little girl who only spoke Spanish. They messed around and she gave my bestie a HUG. I WISH I was there. I speak Spanish and we both are on section two now, we both are on the first lesson of it, so I could’ve done that too. But last year I went to Spain for the third time, knowing a little bit of Spanish and it made a big difference. If my mother needed to know what are taxi driver said, I could tell her a bit of it. I am only ten. I lost my streak last year (47 day streak) and gave up. Came back, stopped for 3 months, came back, stopped for 1 or 2 months. Handy thing is I’ve been learning since I was 9 (third class primary school) and have two-ish three-ish years before before I need to take it up in school. (I’m being forced to go to a certain secondary school where no one else is going and yes they do European Spanish or Spain Spanish whatever it’s called) so that’ll be easy. THANKS DUO ❤️😘😍🥰💕♥️💖💙💗💜💞💓💛🖤💚❣️🧡💘💝🤎🤍🩷🫀🩶💟🩵❤️🔥💌❤️🩹🫰🫶
